"First Day of Criticism"๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿซ

                DAY 1

As part of our B.Ed. curriculum, we are required to participate in criticism sessions based on our practice teaching classes. The first day of criticism took place on Thursday, 27th February 2025, with active involvement from the Physical Science department. The day started at 10:00 AM with a class handled by Sheba Mariam Thomas, followed by another session from 10:50 AM to 11:30 AM conducted by Karthika M.G.. Both classes were well-organized, featuring strong interactions between the teacher and students, as well as among the students themselves, which made the learning experience engaging and effective. After the break, I observed two classes in the Malayalam department, taken by Adithya P. and Aleena Hanna Mathew, which gave me valuable insights into language teaching approaches. Post-lunch, the sessions continued, with K.V. Nimmi leading the class from 2:10 PM to 2:50 PM. Finally, I had the opportunity to take my own class from 3:00 PM to 3:40 PM on the topic “Water as a Universal Solvent”, where I incorporated videos, experiments, and charts to enhance understanding. I was delighted to receive appreciative comments from both my peers and the teacher, which boosted my confidence and inspired me for future teaching sessions. With the conclusion of my class, the first day of criticism ended successfully, and the initial anxiety I felt was replaced with a sense of accomplishment and encouragement.
