The thirty-third day began with our usual routine. We reached the school at 9:00 AM, signed the register, and attended the morning assembly at 9:20 AM with prayer, pledge, and national anthem. During the 3rd period, I had a Physics class in 9C where I taught the topic Momentum from the unit Laws of Motion. At 12:15 PM, we carried out our regular noon meal serving duty.
In the afternoon session, a Science Quiz Competition for UP students was conducted in the science laboratory at 1:00 PM. We assisted in organizing the program and ensured the smooth conduct of the event. The day concluded at 3:45 PM with the national anthem, after which we signed the register and returned home.
π¬ Day 34 – ICT-Based Chemistry Lesson
The thirty-fourth day started with the usual school routine. After signing the register and attending the morning assembly, I had a Chemistry class in 8B during the 3rd period, where I taught Thermal Conductivity and Sonority using an ICT-based lesson from the unit Metals and Non-Metals.
At 12:15 PM, we performed our noon meal serving duty. In the afternoon session, I did not have any regular classes, so I utilized the time to prepare teaching aids and make arrangements for upcoming lessons. The day concluded at 3:45 PM with the national anthem, after which we signed the register and returned home.
The thirty-fifth day began with our regular routine of signing the register and attending the morning assembly. During the 6th period, I had my optional observation in class 8B, teaching the topics Metallic Lustre and Hardness from the unit Metals and Non-Metals. The session was engaging, and the observation was completed successfully.
In the 8th period, I had a Physics class in 8D, where I introduced the topic Gas Pressure from the unit Pressure. At 12:15 PM, we performed our noon meal serving duty. The day concluded at 3:45 PM with the national anthem, after which we signed the register and returned home.
⚖️ Day 36 – Learning Chemistry Through a Courtroom Drama
The thirty-sixth day of our first phase teaching practice began with the regular school routine. We reached the school at 9:00 AM, signed the register, and attended the morning assembly with prayer, pledge, and national anthem. In the 3rd period, I handled a substitution class in 7B. At 12:15 PM, we performed our noon meal serving duty.
During the 5th period, I had a Chemistry class in 8B where I taught the topic Non-Metals from the unit Metals and Non-Metals through an innovative approach. The concept was presented as a courtroom drama, where students actively participated by taking on roles such as judge, prosecution lawyer, defence lawyer, and elements like Oxygen, Iodine, and Sulphur. This creative method made the class lively and interactive, helping students easily understand the characteristics and importance of non-metals while encouraging teamwork and imagination. The school day ended with the national anthem at 3:45 PM, after which we signed the register and returned home, feeling satisfied with a fun and meaningful learning experience.
The thirty-seventh day began with our regular routine. After signing the register and attending the morning assembly, I had a Physics class in 8D during the 2nd period where I taught Atmospheric Pressure from the unit Pressure. During the 3rd period, I had another Physics class in 9C, teaching the Second Law of Motion from the unit Laws of Motion.
At 12:15 PM, we performed our noon meal serving duty. In the afternoon session, the school conducted the school-level Sasthramela, and I was assigned in charge of the Embroidery, Fabric Painting, and Vegetable Printing events. Students actively participated and showcased their creativity. Following the competitions, an exhibition was conducted where the students proudly presented their works. The day concluded at 3:45 PM with the national anthem, after which we signed the register and returned home.
