"ADHYAVI: Raising Awareness on the Elimination of Violence Against Women"

On November 25, 2024, the Women Cell organized the International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women. The event featured a documentary show and collage competitions aimed at raising awareness about violence against women. Neethu Raj from the Malayalam Department gave a talk about the Women Cell, followed by impactful video presentations. Sharon Joy and I won first prize in the collage competition. The program emphasized the importance of safeguarding women's dignity and addressing this urgent issue.

"A Day of Laughter and Relaxation: Film Club Inauguration at Baselios College"

The Film Club inauguration, organized by the college union, took place on November 22, 2024. The event was coordinated by Noel M. Shibu and Jinda, with Jinda delivering the welcome speech. The inauguration was conducted by college faculty Arun Sir, who also gave the presidential speech. Fr. Sabu Raju provided the felicitation, and the vote of thanks was delivered by Krishnaja.

Two movies were screened during the event: the college-based comedy "Adi Kapyare Kootamani" in the morning and the fun-filled "Chathikkatha Chanthu" in the afternoon.

Overall, the event offered a relaxing break for students, providing a moment of enjoyment amidst their busy schedules.

"Learning Sustainability: Crafting Useful Products at the SUPW Workshop"

As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a workshop on Socially Useful Productive Work (SUPW) was conducted on November 19, 2024. The session began at 10:00 AM with a warm welcome from our principal, who introduced the resource person, Mr. Mohanlal Sir.

The workshop started with an interactive session about the importance and objectives of SUPW. Mr. Mohanlal explained how to create useful products from reusable materials.

The students were divided into four groups, each tasked with creating different items: soap, lotion, files, and bags. I was part of the group making bags.

Overall, the session was highly interactive, and we learned valuable practical skills that will be useful in our future careers.

"Empowering Future Educators: A Day of Leadership and Learning at the Capacity Building Workshop"

As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a workshop on Capacity Building was conducted on November 16, 2024. The resource person, Mr. R. Kiran Bodhi, a renowned educator and motivational speaker with extensive experience in teacher training and leadership development, led the session, which began at 9:30 AM.

The workshop started with an interactive session, followed by an insightful talk on leadership. Mr. Bodhi discussed the qualities of effective leaders and teachers, the differences between them, types of leadership, and what makes a great leader.

Later, the 101 participants were divided into four groups for an engaging games session. The first activity was a blindfolded hand-catching game, requiring teamwork and guidance, followed by a ball-passing game. Team PRAYANAM won both games, emerging as champions.

In the afternoon, a drama-making session was held, where each group was assigned a theme and given 30 minutes to prepare. All teams delivered impressive performances, showcasing creativity and teamwork.

The day concluded with a reflection session led by Sr. Sincy Maria Sam, Jisa c s , and Fr. Sabu Raju. The workshop wrapped up at 4:00 PM, leaving participants inspired and motivated to embrace leadership roles as future educators. It was a truly enriching and empowering experience.

Physical Science Association Inauguration: TACHYON ☄️

Our department association program was held on November 12, 2024. The event began with a prayer, followed by a welcome speech by Jeeja J. Jiju.

The program was inaugurated by our principal, Riju John Sir, who also unveiled the logo and name, TACHYON. Felicitations were delivered by our department HOD, Shamna Rani tr.

Following the inaugural ceremony, the event featured solo and group songs, dance performances, a game session, and a treasure hunt. Vote of thanks given by me and the program concluded successfully around 3:30 PM.

Natural Science Association Inauguration: BIOPHILIA 😍

On November 11, the Natural Science department celebrated their association day. The event, named "BIOPHILIA," showcased the students' creativity and energy.

The program began with a welcome speech by Soja, followed by an inauguration by Principal Riju John and a presidential address by Mrs. Praveena. As part of the celebration, the department gifted a Tulasi plant to the college as a symbol of growth and well-being. The day featured vibrant performances and engaging games, concluding successfully at 3:30 pm.

"SMASH 2K24: A Day of Sports, Yoga, and Team Spirit"🤩

As part of our B.Ed curriculum, a sports meet titled SMASH 2K24 was organized on November 9, 2024. In the morning, union members and team captains took charge of their responsibilities.

The event began with an internal yoga session, followed by games from 10 AM to 1 PM, which included cricket and football. Afterward, a practical yoga session was conducted.The day concluded with a prize distribution ceremony, honoring the winners and runners-up. The program wrapped up by 4 pm.

On November 8, 2024, the Mathematics department of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College conducted its association program.

The event was inaugurated by the college principal, Riju John Sir, who also unveiled the department's logo. The welcome speech was delivered by Vismaya Thomas tr. The association is named "EQUAVISTA."

The program featured a variety of activities, including solo and duet performances, games, and a dance performance by both teachers and students. Jesna delivered the vote of thanks, and the session concluded around 3:30 PM.

Social Science Association: RITHVA😍

On November 7, 2024, the Social Science department of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College hosted its association program, creating a truly memorable experience.

The event was inaugurated by the college principal, Riju John Sir, and the department unveiled its logo and name, "RITHVA." The students captivated the audience with dance performances, engaging games, and entertaining comedy skits. Their hard work and dedication were evident in every aspect of the program, which concluded at 3:30 PM.

Malayalam Association Inauguration: KALOLSMI 🤩

On November 5, 2024, the Malayalam department of Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College organized its association program, which turned out to be a delightful experience for everyone.

The event was inaugurated by Akhil Sir and Harivind Sir, both faculty members of the department. Alfiya and Sandra hosted the program with great enthusiasm. Following the inauguration, the department unveiled their logo, named "KALOLSMI."

The event then transitioned to a series of performances, each showcasing exceptional talent and creating a vibrant atmosphere of celebration and unity. Anupama delivered the vote of thanks, and the program concluded around 3:30 PM.

Reflection of School Induction Programme : 4 November 2024

 The school induction reflection was held on November 4, 2024. The class was divided into two batches, each consisting of 10 groups, totaling 20 groups. Our group was assessed by Shamna Rani tr and Akhil Raj Sir.

During the session, each group shared their experiences from the induction program, offering valuable insights into the functioning of different schools. This process helped us gain a deeper understanding of school operations and management.

The teachers asked numerous questions about the schools and their workings, making the session engaging and informative. Overall, the induction program proved to be a meaningful and enriching experience for everyone.

Kerala Piravi Celebrations and Union Oath Taking Ceremony @ BMM II TC : 1 November 2024

 Kerala Piravi celebrations were organized at the college under the leadership of the college union.

The day began with an assembly, followed by the oath-taking ceremony for the college union office bearers. Sri Albin K. Alexander assumed the role of Chairman, while Smt. Alfy George took charge as Vice Chairperson.

The Kerala Piravi celebrations started around 10:30 AM with various competitions, including the Malayali Manka contest and a quiz competition. Prizes were distributed to the winners, adding excitement to the event.

Following this, cultural programs were held, showcasing talent and enthusiasm. The celebrations concluded by 1:30 PM, marking a memorable Kerala Piravi Day.
