"Empowering Future Educators: A Day of Leadership and Learning at the Capacity Building Workshop"

As part of the B.Ed curriculum, a workshop on Capacity Building was conducted on November 16, 2024. The resource person, Mr. R. Kiran Bodhi, a renowned educator and motivational speaker with extensive experience in teacher training and leadership development, led the session, which began at 9:30 AM.

The workshop started with an interactive session, followed by an insightful talk on leadership. Mr. Bodhi discussed the qualities of effective leaders and teachers, the differences between them, types of leadership, and what makes a great leader.

Later, the 101 participants were divided into four groups for an engaging games session. The first activity was a blindfolded hand-catching game, requiring teamwork and guidance, followed by a ball-passing game. Team PRAYANAM won both games, emerging as champions.

In the afternoon, a drama-making session was held, where each group was assigned a theme and given 30 minutes to prepare. All teams delivered impressive performances, showcasing creativity and teamwork.

The day concluded with a reflection session led by Sr. Sincy Maria Sam, Jisa c s , and Fr. Sabu Raju. The workshop wrapped up at 4:00 PM, leaving participants inspired and motivated to embrace leadership roles as future educators. It was a truly enriching and empowering experience.
