๐ผ Day 41 – Completing the Portions
The forty-first day began with the usual school routine. We reached the school by 9:00 AM, signed the register, and attended the morning assembly that included the prayer, pledge, and national anthem. During the 3rd period, I had a Physics class in 9C, where I taught Newton’s Third Law of Motion — my last topic for the phase. With that class, I successfully completed all the portions allotted to me. At 12:15 PM, we performed our noon meal serving duty. From 1:00 PM onwards, a special prayer session was organized in the school for students, teachers, and staff members by class 10B. Each class participated for about 15 minutes, creating a peaceful and spiritual atmosphere. The afternoon was calm, with no further classes scheduled. The school day ended with the national anthem at 3:45 PM, and we left for home with a sense of satisfaction.
๐ท Day 42 – Achievement Test and Art Events
The forty-second day followed the usual routine. After the morning assembly, I conducted the Achievement Test in class 8B during the 3rd period to evaluate students’ learning based on the completed units. It gave me valuable insights into how much they had understood and where improvements were needed. We completed our noon meal duty at 12:15 PM. Later, another special prayer session was held, this time organized by class 10A. In the afternoon, from 2:00 PM onwards, the Water Colour Drawing Competition was conducted in the science lab as part of the upcoming school Arts Festival. The event brought colour and joy to the school atmosphere. The day ended with the national anthem at 3:45 PM, leaving us with a feeling of accomplishment.
๐ป Day 43 – A Heartfelt Farewell
The forty-third and final day of our first phase teaching practice was filled with mixed emotions. We reached the school at 9:00 AM, signed the register, and prepared for the day’s events. At 11:00 AM, the Headmaster arranged a special meeting with all teachers to appreciate and acknowledge our contributions during the practice period. Their kind words truly touched our hearts and made us feel valued. After the noon meal duty, I handled a Physical Education class in 8B on the topic Sprain – Its Causes and Effects during the 6th period. In the 8th period, we spent time with our students in 8B, taking photos, sharing feedback, and exchanging words of affection. The students’ love and warmth made it a memorable farewell. We also offered small tokens of gratitude to the teachers and students for their constant support and kindness.
At 3:45 PM, as the national anthem echoed for the last time, we signed the register and left the school with hearts full of memories. This final week beautifully wrapped up our teaching journey — a phase that taught us not only how to teach, but also how to connect, inspire, and grow with our students.
