"Exploring Teaching Models: A Day of Criticism Classes"๐Ÿ‘ฉ‍๐Ÿซ๐Ÿ“–

As part of our B.Ed. curriculum, we moved on from activity-based teaching in the first semester to model-based teaching in the second semester. The model-based criticism classes for our second semester were conducted on April 3, 2025, and it was an enriching experience for all of us.

On the day of our criticism class, two of our classmates took model-based lessons. The first session was by Ullas Mohan, who used the Advance Organizer Model to teach the topic “Planetary Model of the Atom.” His clear explanation and organized presentation helped us understand the lesson structure effectively. The second session was by Darsan J., who followed the Concept Attainment Model to teach the topic “Physical Changes.” His class was interactive and well-structured, guiding us to identify concepts through examples and non-examples.

Both sessions were well-prepared, interactive, and informative, providing a deeper understanding of how different teaching models can be effectively used in classroom situations. It was a great learning opportunity that boosted our confidence for upcoming model-based lessons.
