On June 19, our college celebrated National Reading Day, honoring P. N. Panicker, the father of Kerala's reading movement. The program, organized by the Malayalam Department, aimed to promote reading habits among students.
The event began at 2:30 PM with a prayer and was anchored by Alfiya. Akhil Sir gave the welcome address, followed by Sandra’s talk on the day’s importance. Aleena led the Reading Day Pledge, and the inaugural speech was delivered by Simon Achan. Sheeja Miss and Anupama gave the vote of thanks.
A reading competition was held as part of the celebration.
