E-content plays an important role in modern education by integrating technology with teaching and learning. It makes the learning process more engaging, interactive, and effective by using digital resources such as text, images, audio, and video. In science education, e-content helps students understand abstract concepts clearly through visual explanations and narration. It also supports self-learning by allowing learners to access lessons anytime and anywhere, making learning more flexible and student-centered.
The e-content developed is for Class VIII Science on the topic “Characteristics of Electric Charges.” The lesson explains electric charge, structure of the atom, charging by gain or loss of electrons, and the characteristics of electric charges such as attraction and repulsion. PowerPoint was used to prepare the presentation slides, AZ Screen Recorder was used to record the lesson, and InShot was used for video editing. Simple language, relevant images, and audio narration were used to make the content clear and learner-friendly.
