The final day of the Lokahi Community Living Camp (25/10/25) marked a memorable conclusion to five days of learning, laughter, and togetherness. The valedictory function began at 10:00 AM with Sheba Susan Philip and Nayana serving as the hosts of the program. The session began with a warm welcome address delivered by the camp teacher coordinator Kumari Sreelakshmi. The function was presided over by the college principal, Mr. Riju John, who guided and inspired the students throughout the camp. The inauguration of the closing ceremony was performed by Mr. Mullakkara Ratnakaran, former Minister for Agriculture, Government of Kerala. His presence and insightful words added great value to the occasion. Following this, the camp report was presented by Mr. Jeevan, highlighting the vibrant activities, creative sessions, and joyful experiences of the past five days.
Awards were then distributed to appreciate outstanding participation and leadership. The Best Camper awards were presented to Arunima (Natural Science) and Albin K. Alexander (Mathematics). The camp coordinators, Kumari Jisa and Mr. Jeevan, along with Mr. Albin, who suggested the name “Lokahi,” and all group leaders, were also honored for their valuable contributions. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks delivered by Fr. Sabu, who expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to the success of Lokahi Camp.
As the curtains came down on this five-day journey, the spirit of Lokahi—meaning unity, harmony, and togetherness—remained alive in every participant’s heart, leaving behind memories to be cherished forever.
