"EKTHA Unveiled: A New Era of Unity and Expression"🀩

The Union and Arts Inauguration 2024-2025 at Baselios Marthoma Mathews II Training College marked a day of unity, inspiration, and boundless creativity. Held on January 16, 2025, in the General Hall, the event brought the campus alive, celebrating student representation and artistic talent.

The Beginning of a Journey

When we first stepped into this college, the importance of union activities felt abstract. However, as each event unfolded, we discovered the power of collaboration and the joy of taking ownership of our roles. The union not only represents us but also amplifies our voices and talents.

A Memorable Morning

Time: 11:00 AM

The event opened with a warm welcome by Principal Mr. Riju John, followed by a heartfelt speech from our Union Chairman, Albin, and a presidential address by Father Jacob, our manager.

The highlight of the ceremony was the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the honorable MLA of Puthuppally, Mr. Chandy Oommen, whose inaugural address inspired us all. Adding charm and humor to the occasion were our special guests, comedy artists Rajeesh Kottarathil and Sujith Manayil, who captivated the audience with their words and wit.

The unveiling of the union logo, “EKTHA” (Unity), was a proud moment led by our MLA. The logo symbolizes the strength of togetherness—a perfect reflection of our aspirations.

Felicitations from Miss Sithusha and Father Sabu Raju, along with a vote of thanks by David, the Arts Club Secretary, wrapped up the formal session. A group photo with guests and union members captured the joy and excitement of the day.

An Electrifying Afternoon

After lunch, the excitement peaked as we gathered at 2:00 PM for a musical show by NEELAM BAND. Their electrifying performance energized the crowd, turning the hall into a sea of cheers and dancing. The band’s passion resonated with everyone, leaving an unforgettable impression.

A Celebration of Unity and Talent

The day concluded at 4:00 PM with hearts full of joy and minds brimming with inspiration. This event was a testament to the hard work and dedication of the union members and the vibrant spirit of the student community.
