“Fresher’s Day 2025: Joy, Games, and Togetherness with Union Ektha”

Union Ektha organized a grand Fresher’s Day to give a warm and memorable welcome to our juniors. The entire venue was beautifully decorated, creating a cheerful atmosphere for the occasion. The program was anchored by Jesna Johnson from the Mathematics Department and Alfiya N from the Malayalam Department, who kept the audience engaged with their lively presence. The function was inaugurated by our Principal, Dr. Benedict Sir, who delivered an inspiring address that motivated the students and added grace to the event. The program started with a theme presentation prepared specially for the first years, followed by a variety of stage performances from each department of the second years. I also had the privilege of representing the Physical Science Department in a dance performance, which was both exciting and enjoyable. Alongside the cultural events, fun-filled games were conducted for the juniors, ensuring that everyone actively participated and enjoyed the spirit of the day. After the activities, food was arranged for all, making the gathering even more festive and delightful.

Post lunch, the energy rose even higher with an adventurous treasure hunt organized by Noel M. Shibu, in which all the departments participated with great enthusiasm. This segment brought teamwork, thrill, and joy, leaving the juniors with lasting memories of their first Fresher’s Day. As the celebrations drew to an end, the wind-up session turned out to be the true highlight of the day—teachers and students together filled the stage with dance, laughter, and music, creating an atmosphere of unity and joy. The collective participation of everyone made the program unforgettable, and the celebration came to a close by 3:30 pm with hearts full of happiness and memories to cherish.
