Our day began with a prayer at 9:30 AM, followed by a pledge. This was the third day of our school induction, and today, we had the responsibility of teaching a class. I and Sharon were assigned to teach 8A, the Malayalam medium section, following our teacher’s instructions. There are 11 students in the class, but only 9 were present today.
This was my first experience teaching a class, and it’s a moment I’ll never forget on the topic of thermochemical reactions. After the class, we interviewed some students to learn about their backgrounds and school experiences. We spoke with two students from different classes, and they shared different perspectives about the school and their learning methods. The students were polite and cooperative throughout, and they called us “Teacher,” which felt both surprising and heartwarming. And at the 7th hour, there is a class observation of Manasa Teacher. Such a wonderful and unforgettable day in my life as a teacher trainee.
